iMac released today - Apple just doesn’t stop
Apple revealed the new iMac today, and damn is it beautiful. This new iMac is available in a 20″ and 24″ model and has begun shipping today. Apple is more stoked about how thin the new iMac is, but I think I’m more enamoured with the keyboard. I’ve been a big fan of the MacBook keyboard design since I first laid fingers on it. Now, I kinda want to order one of the new keyboards! 
At the risk of revealing my fanboy tent, I have to say that Apple is totally kicking ass. They are really leading the computer world with their product line. They have killer laptops, powerful desktops, the best lineup of pre-installed software out there, and, of course, the game changing iPhone. Their stock has been rising for some time, and I have to say that I would totally buy more Apple stock because they have only just begun. While it is possible for them to take a misstep, it won’t be for at least a few years.
It wouldn’t be a proper post if I didn’t mention how good their new site is too. The top nav bar looks really clean, while being a nice evolution from their previous design. They are using beautiful modal windows for their photo galleries. I’m totally happy with their redesigned footer, which used to be a catch-all mish mash of afterthought content that was uncharacteristic of Apple’s relentless pursuit of perfection. Say what you will about Apple, they definitely raise the bar for the tech world. One day, I want to work for Apple, but only if it’s a sweet position making a grip of cash.
