Beer and Blog
Every Friday I host a happy hour meet up called Beer and Blog (@beerandblog). The idea is bloggers helping bloggers over beers. Sometimes we have a topic, sometimes we do work, and sometimes we go on a field trip. I let people know what’s going on via Upcoming, Twitter, and the blog. We’re a friendly bunch, so come hang out with us and shoot the shit. If you’re not in Portland, check out one of our other chapters around the world!

Voce Communications
I was a New Media Strategist for Voce Communications. Voce is a bad ass PR firm that is doing some innovative work in the social media space for top brands like Yahoo!, Sony Playstation, and eBay (all of whom are featured on Wordpress’s home page for the work they’ve done). They were built on traditional PR and AR.
Legion of Tech
I served on the Board of Directors for Legion of Tech, which puts on Portland’s hottest tech events. Ignite Portland, BarCamp Portland, and Startupalooza are a few of the events they’ve produced. They are a non-profit organization that is focused on serving Portland’s burgeoning tech community. If you are in the Portland area, check out their blog to see what’s coming up next.
